Start with the existing pool and the changes you want to make—not just a new finish color. A site evaluation helps separate appearance goals from issues that need further investigation, so the renovation scope is clear.
Review the tile areas to be updated, the appearance you want and how the selections will work with the coping and interior finish. Confirm the extent of removal and replacement in the proposal.
Coping is the edge around the pool. Discuss the material, profile and connection to the surrounding deck as part of the same finish plan, with existing conditions reviewed on site.
Discuss the existing interior, the finish you want and the preparation included in the renovation. A new interior finish is not a substitute for evaluating a known leak or structural concern.
Our remodeling services focus on tile, coping and plaster. Shape changes, added features, equipment work and repairs need individual evaluation and a clearly agreed scope.
Before we build
Tell H30 what bothers you about the pool today: its appearance, worn finishes, the way it connects to the backyard, or a problem that has not been explained.
Bring repair records, equipment information and photos of the areas you want reviewed. Report known leaks, cracks or recurring problems before the finish selections and repair scope are finalized.
Review demolition, preparation, protection of surrounding areas, disposal, refilling and startup in the proposal. Identify any additional repairs before approving the work.
Discuss the existing pool with H30Existing surfaces, preparation and repair needs affect the price, even for pools with similar dimensions.
The H30 process
Review the layout, selections and revisions together before approving the work for construction.
Discuss what to preserve, what to update and any concerns that need evaluation.
Review tile, coping and plaster choices as a single visual direction.
Clarify included preparation, exclusions, revisions and scheduling before approval.
Work through site arrangements, the approved construction scope and completion requirements.
Renovation timing is project-specific. Confirm when the pool will be unavailable and what must be completed before swimming resumes. Do not drain the pool yourself in preparation for the consultation.

Designed as a whole
Use the gallery to show H30 the colors, pool edges and gathering spaces you like. The site evaluation will help identify which changes suit your existing pool.
Request the written workmanship and product warranties for the remodeling work in your proposal. The new-construction structural warranty does not automatically apply to an existing pool or renovation.
Explore third-party financing optionsH30’s remodeling services include tile, coping and plaster renovation. The actual scope depends on the existing pool and your goals. Equipment, structural changes, repairs and surrounding work should be evaluated and included in the proposal rather than assumed.
Not necessarily. The existing condition and the scope you approve determine what is replaced. Discuss the relationship between the finishes and any overlapping work so you can compare a coordinated remodel with a smaller update.
Do not assume that an interior-finish renovation resolves a leak or structural issue. Tell H30 about known problems before finalizing the scope so the appropriate evaluation and any additional work can be addressed separately.
H30 also offers concrete, decorative overlays, patios and other outdoor-living construction. Discuss those areas during the initial visit. The surfaces and work included must be evaluated and clearly identified in the proposal.
See hardscaping and surface optionsCost depends on the tile, coping and plaster areas, their condition, preparation and removal needs, selected materials and any additional work. H30 reviews these details before preparing the proposal.
Timing depends on the renovation scope and the existing pool’s condition. Review the work sequence, approvals, refilling and startup with H30, including when the pool can safely return to use.
No. Leave draining and construction preparation to the project plan and the responsible professionals. For the consultation, share photos, the current condition and relevant maintenance or repair records instead.
H30’s stated lifetime structural warranty is for new-construction pools, subject to written terms. Ask which workmanship and product warranties apply to your remodeling proposal; do not treat new-pool coverage as a warranty on an existing pool.
