Frequently asked questions

Clear Answers. Before You Build.

Practical answers about preparing for a consultation, design revisions, project scope, financing and warranties.

What should I have ready for my first consultation?

Bring your project location, backyard photos, a survey if available, and the features you have in mind. Inspiration images, a budget range and your preferred timing can help focus the conversation. Tell us about your project.

Can I inquire if my city is not listed?

Yes. Share the location and proposed work so H30 can check current coverage before arranging a site visit. Browse our service areas.

What happens after the first conversation?

H30’s process moves from the discovery call to a site evaluation, design review and proposal, revisions and approval, then project planning and construction. See the H30 process.

Can I revise the design before construction?

Yes. H30’s design process includes review meetings and revisions before you approve the project. Discuss layout changes, finishes and any outdoor features during that review. Explore pool design and construction.

Are design renderings part of the free consultation?

The initial consultation and proposal are free. Design renderings require a design fee or project deposit. Discuss what that stage includes before rendering work begins.

Can I plan a pool now and outdoor improvements for a later phase?

Discuss the full plan early so the pool layout, access and future utility connections can be considered together. Each phase’s proposal should identify its included work. Explore outdoor-living options.

What should I mention when asking about a pool remodel?

Share the finishes you want to change, the features you want to retain and any known leaks, cracks or past repairs. Bring photos and repair records if available. Read about complete pool remodeling.

What should be clear in my project proposal?

Review the work included, dimensions, selected finishes, equipment, surrounding improvements and the project schedule. Identify later phases and any work needing further evaluation before approving the scope. Compare the service options.

Who decides whether financing is approved?

Financing is provided by third-party lenders. The lender determines approval, interest rates and repayment terms. See the financing information.

Which warranty documents should I review?

For a new-construction pool, ask for H30’s written lifetime structural warranty. Also review the workmanship and manufacturer terms for the actual materials, equipment and work in your proposal; coverage differs by project and product.
